My laptop decided to pull an early April Fools joke by crapping out on me early Monday morning. While it's getting repaired under warantee, I'm back on my rusty trusty iMac that I love like an old invalid relative (i.e. hate, but in a guilty-feeling way). I noticed a screencap image on my desktop, and wondered what it was, having not used this computer in some months. Turns out it was a gift to myself. It might take you a minute:

And on the topic of funny-or-horrible: Apparently
Least I Could Do is running some kind of a comic crossover parody... thing. I don't think the authors cited webcomics are in on it, so I'm not sure what they're going for. It might be their way of celebrating webcomics due to some upcoming webcomic awards, like the Internet version of hosting Oscar night. Either way, there are a lot of industry inside jokes being made and none of it is funny, so pretty standard fare for Oscar night and Least I Could Do.
(That's a Johnny Rebel song, by the way. All the sites mistakenly attribute it to David Alan Coe. Let's just move along now and ignore why I would know this or have searched for this page in the first place.)
